Amy Wadman"I believe there is no better way to discover Italy than through it's fine wines and traditional local food products and I think the only way to truly experience the essence of Italy is to travel to each region, see the land and the vineyards, meet the winemakers and the people and taste the local foods and wines in their place of origin. I also believe that the joy of tasting wine is greatly enhanced by the experience of being surrounded by the sights, smells and sounds of Italy and I strive to create unique itineraries to share everything I love most about Italy with you".
Amy is the creator and owner of diVino and has been running the business since 2003. Being both bilingual and bicultural, she is uniquely qualified to share her experience with people who are seeking a deeper understanding of the Italian lifestyle. She personally hand crafts diVino's Custom Tours, where she works with each individual traveler, creating one of a kind itineraries catering to each client's interests and needs. Though her trips are gourmet in nature she also weaves unique art and history experiences into her tours and arranges exclusive events throughout Italy. Besides running diVino Amy also owns a small organic farm in Le Marche with her partner Mirco - www.costadigiano.com |
Peg TamsPeg is Amy’s mom and a world traveler. After retiring she volunteered to manage the administrative end of diVino. In addition to handling finances, she helps prepare travel information and works with diVino travelers to make sure we know about dietary restrictions, emergency contacts and all the other little things that go into making their travels as smooth as they can be. Of course at least one trip to Italy every year is a necessity to keep in touch with everything that’s happening on the ground!
