Itinerary:


Day 1
Castles of Aosta

Rendezvous with your guide and driver at Turin airport or train station and transfer to the beautiful mountain region of Valle d’Aosta. On your way to your accommodations, stop to enjoy a guided tour of Castello Issonge, one of the valley’s breathtaking historic castles.

After checking in and relaxing into the pace of life in breathtaking Italian Alps, begin your journey into the rare wines of Valle d’Aosta in an evening guided tasting of fine local wines.After our tasting travel on mountain paths to a traditional Alpine Chalet for a delicious dinner of local delicacies paired with fine local wines.

Day 2
Valle d'Aosta Hike & Wine

In the morning enjoy a guided hike along breathtaking mountain trails on our way to lunch at a beautiful mountain chalet.

On our way home we’ll stop to tour the cellars of a Valle d’Aosta winery with a famous local winemaker followed by a tasting of estate wines.

Free afternoon and evening to rest and relax and enjoy dinner on your own.

Day 3

Gourmet Valle d'Aosta

Tour hidden Valle d’Aosta wineries and sample rare alpine wines on our exclusive gourmet journey into the region’s fine wines and local food products. During our gourmet tour we’ll meet with important local winemakers and learn the secrets of producing world class wines in this difficult alpine terrain. We’ll also visit gourmet artisans to sample the exquisite cheeses and local products of Valle d’Aosta.

In the afternoon check into accommodations below the slopes of Mont Blanc. Free time to rest and settle in before heading out to a gourmet dinner at a fine local restaurant.

Day 4
White Water Rafting Adventure

In the morning we’ll head out to our rafting adventure, a ½ day excursion along the beautiful Dora Baltea river accompanied by expert local rafting guides.

After our adventure enjoy a mountainside picnic BBQ buffet accompanied by local wines.

Return home in the afternoon to enjoy some well deserved R&R and free evening and dinner on your own.

Day 5
Mont Blanc Hike & Wine

In the morning enjoy a 3 hour guided hike along breathtaking mountain trails along the slopes of the Mont Blanc. Visit a one of a kind high altitude Alpine botanical garden before catching the panoramic gondola to the top of the mountain! Enjoy the spectacular view from the top of Europe’s highest mountain while you enjoy our “Top of the World” guided tasting of rare Valle d’Aosta wines produced from the highest altitude vineyards in Europe.

On our way home we’ll stop to visit a winery in Morgex and see the high altitude vineyards followed by a tasting of estate wines.

Rest and relax at the inn before heading to a mountain village for our “farewell to Valle d’Aosta” Wine & Fondue party at one of our favourite restaurants.  

Day 6
Historic Aosta

Am check-out of accommodations and travel to the undiscovered gem of Aosta, the valley’s capital. Enjoy a guided tour of the Roman origins of the city with followed by a delicious lunch at a local Osteria.

After lunch visit Valle d’Aosta’s most famous distillery to learn the art of making Grappa and Genepy (traditional Valle d’Aosta liqueur) transfer to Turin airport or train station and farewell.
