Capannelle wine vault We recently finished this exclusive wine event in the heart of the Chianti Classico in collaboration with world famous Capannelle winery (www.capannelle.com). In putting together this itinerary, I selected my favorite wine and food experiences from the past 6 years. During this 8 day tour you'll stay in a beautiful villa in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. You'll learn the art of traditional Tuscan cuisine in a series of gourmet cooking classes, visit some of Tuscany's finest wineries and taste world class wines paired to the finest regional cuisine. Andrea Anichini, owner and sommelier, has a rare and wondeful taste in food, wine, music (mostly jazz) and ambience and he has an authentic passion for the area’s best, most rare and most delicious local food products. At La Vinsantaia (also known as The Table for Saints and Sinners) you can stop by for a glass of Chianti Classico and a chat with Andrea or you can spend an entire evening over a 5 course olive oil tasting dinner, perfectly paired to some of Tuscany's greatest wines. The menu is intentionally simple, almost essential, because the stars of La Vinsantaia are the natural flavors of the precious local ingredients. |
